While puttering around early this Spring I was delighted to discover this simple engraved stone. The message “Inspire” made me smile, but my real amusement was in wondering how long it had been there before I noticed it. It is now well into Summer and I look for the message on the stone
whenever I pass by and am pleased to find it is still there. I don’t know who put it there or how many other people may have stumbled upon it and also smile thinking the special message is their secret also.
It reminds me of Proverbs 25:2 which says, “It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.”
Every time I check and find the little stone still hiding in plain sight, it makes me feel like royalty. It still makes me smile.
