We regularly receive packages delivered by Amazon, UPS, Purolator and FedEx. I typically like to meet the drivers when they come with a smile. Since they come regularly, they start to know my name.
One FedEx driver delivered a package and mentioned that Drayton is such a nice town. After a bit of chit chat, we discovered that we both grew up in the same town located about 1 1/2 hrs away from Drayton. He told me of how his mother's cheerful devotion to Christ led his father to Christ who eventually became a pastor. He then told me about his own relationship with Christ and the hope for eternal life that God gives us. The FedEx driver mentioned that he likes to share the love of God and encouragement when he drops off packages. I blessed him as he went on his way.
I reflected, “How awesome it is that this man carries God's blessings to everyone he meets. He actively uses the open doors God has given him in these times of lockdowns to encourage and share life giving news.”
As a mother, I also think that it is amazing that the godly devotion of this man's mother not only impacted the lives of her husband and son. Now, her son spreads God's love to a whole community of people!
