One on one with Jesus

Access to all of God - for all you need.

Memory Verse:

MATTHEW 6:31-33

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Bible Story: Matthew 3:1-17, John 16:7, Ephesians 1:4, 2 Peter 1:3-5, John 17:22-23

Have you ever had first century discipleship envy?

Have you ever envied the disciples getting to hang out with Jesus, in the flesh? Let’s settle this once and for all. In spite of our “in person” envy, the truth is Jesus had something better in mind. First for his “in-person” followers and then for us! (see john 16:7 and John17:20-21). Believe it or not we get the better deal. It’s what God wanted, it’s what Jesus wanted, for everyone!!!!

So Before you read what I am about to say, have your taken time to read all the scriptures above? Have you let these words touch your heart? Have your asked Jesus, Father God and Holy Spirit-what these words mean for you?

Have you taken a moment to bring God’s heart for you at this moment and time in your life? Has the word become flesh to you? Aweseome! Write down what God is saying-bring a little heaven to earth. Then read my words…. :) See how they compare.

What do a write next, my message for Sunday,… “ONE ON ONE WITH JESUS” : Access to all of God for all you need.

In short, we all get the better deal! That’s God’s heart. No envy needed!
