13 And God never said to any of the angels, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

Reflection:
When I was a kid my dad always had me check out the consumer reports related to any “big" purchase I was going to make. My Dad exalted the “consumer report” far above any marketing strategy that wanted my loyalty as a customer.
Though in a totally different league, God’s endorsement of Jesus carries with it a similar kind of authority. Again, Hebrews reminds us, an authority greater than the Angels who are merely “servants” like us. God is giving us his own stamp of approval. There is no One Greater to Endorse Jesus! Because of what God says, our heavenly Daddy has given us the green light to say yes to Jesus. And we come into agreement with this we discover Jesus is truly God’s OVERCOMING-OVER ALL WORD!
Again, listen to how Paul puts it in Thessalonians.
… we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God—which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.
What “works” in us? I’m suggesting it’s the overcoming power of God’s love, revealed in Christ, given to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Can anything separate us from this love …. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”. Romans 8:37!
