GOD’S GIFT OF FAITH!

Bible Story: Luke 2:21-52 God’s gift faith is just the beginning of our journey, now and
forever.
Reflection:
Years back we would sing a song, “Jesus is the answer for the world today”. You’d think that knowing the “answer” you’d have things figured out. But not so with Jesus. Knowing Him makes you a participant in a life filled, moved and lead by His Holy Spirit, filled with mystery and wonder.
Follow verses Luke 2:21-52 and you’ll see that even with the revelation that Jesus is God’s gift of faith, the story isn’t finished yet. Not for Mary, Joseph, Israel or you and I. To receive and accept God’s gift of Faith is to to begin a journey that will takes us on a journey in every phase of life.
Just like Mary and Joseph, may we be parents who carry the revelation of Jesus while at the same time being filled with questions about how God will work His purposes out in our lives and the lives our children. Like Jesus may we grow more and more confident in our relationship with Father God. And just like Simeon and Anna my heart prayer is that we too will be devoted to God right to the end, and forever.
As we move into a new year, a new season, let’s continue walk in the wonder that comes from knowing JESUS:GOD’S GIFT OF FAITH!
