Reflection
Jesus to the average person is just like you and I, totally human. In fact he is so completely everyday ordinary that to see the Jesus as “God’s gift of faith” requires heavenly intervention! My experience is different from the Shepherds. Though I have to say, i think what they experienced is something i’d love to experience too!
But truth be told, my experience, like yours, like the shepherds all have a common quality about them. How so, you ask? If you know in your heart of hearts that Jesus truly is God’s one and only Gift of Faith, you too have had a heavenly encounter! How do I know that. Because you can’t know and believe who Jesus truly is without one. To know Jesus, God’s gift of faith, requires heavenly revelation.
Wow! What a gift!!! Tonight, let’s rejoice together! Heaven has invaded earth and revealed to us JESUS: God’s gift of faith. Merry Christmas everyone!
