“every home a house of praise” --

Your home, a place of heavenly encounter and a mission from heaven to earth!

November 22

REAL REST: LET’S YOU BE YOU AND GOD BE GOD!

So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered God’s rest have rested from their labours, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. Hebrews 4:9-11

Bible Story: Acts 27 to 28:10 -Paul Ship wrecked, Jesus magnified!

Confident:

God wants you to live your life in Christ and let Him do what only He can do.

Connected:

Our biggest “job” on earth is to stay connected with God!

Powerful:

God does powerful things in our lives when we let go and let God.

Reflection for Parent(s): Every home a house of praise! Read Colossians 4:1-5 :)

What if God wants to do more for us than he wants us to do for Him? I’m going to risk saying religion makes us think its about us working for God. What if instead of us working for God, God is looking for the opportunity to work in and through us—for us.

Sometimes I think we struggle with how “normal” our lives are. The enemy of our soul condemns us, you should do more”. We get up, some of us eat, then go to work, or clean the house or care for the kids…once again… the day ends, we’ve worked hard, we eat, perhaps have energy for “one more” thing—then we are exhausted and ready to sleep, so we can do it all over again tomorrow. Where is the glory in that?

The glory comes from our relationship with Jesus! His Presence can fill our everyday. What if our biggest joy is to remain “in Him”? To enjoy Him. Talk with Him. Receive visions, little missions and experiences “in the spirit” that shape the world around us. May our relationship with Jesus be a source of glory amidst the daily routines —whether we sense it or not—make living in the spirit a priority and I know God will begin to move and reveal Himself in ways we never dreamed possible. Make Him our priority amidst the routine of our daily life. … COME ON, GETTER DONE—God wants to do great things just for YOU!
