Gospel: Matthew 13:44-36 You are the Pearl of Great Price! And Grace finds you!
1 Peter 5:10-14
10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 11 All power to him forever! Amen.
12 I have written and sent this short letter to you with the help of Silas,[c] whom I commend to you as a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace.13 Your sister church here in Babylon sends you greetings, and so does my son Mark. 14 Greet each other with a kiss of love. Peace be with all of you who are in Christ.
Reflection:
Sometimes you have to remember the very thing that got you into the kingdom is the very thing you need to get through everything that wants to take you out, GOD’S AMAZING GRACE!!!
Today we want to remember that our GOD SPA IS GRACE.
While there may be some things that are tough and hard, listen to what God has for us:
He will restore
He will support
He will strengthen
He will place you on a firm foundation.
Let’s take time today to receive Peter’s encouragement. Remember each one of us represent the pearl of great price. And Jesus paid the price for each and everyone of us. According to the creator of the universe you and I are of amazing worth.
Return to the things above that Peter tells us God will do. I invite you to list things in the spaces above where God has already done these things in your life. Celebrate them.
