There are some pretty amazing things in my Father’s House. And I’m one of them!
Laurie Reminds us that in our Father, i’m calling it His House. In our Father’s house we too get to live in the intelligence, emotion, will, moral and social likeness of our Heavenly Father. (He is-I am p. 25-31)
Reflection for Parent(s): Every home a house of praise!
You may have heard the expression, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It refers usually to the likeness of children to their parents. Where do you usually, pick up these traits. Some would suggest it’s all genetic. I think it also comes from living in the “house”. Well the same can be said for who we are in Christ. In Christ my “house” of influence is changed. I live in my Father’s House! And living in His House is going to change the way I live. It’s funny, I often I thought i was to reveal Jesus to people. … But Jesus who reveals the Father. Ponder this, to live in Christ is to reveal the Father! That is the heart of Christ. And Christ brings us into the Father’s House- we become “children of God”. And as God transforms us more and more into the image of his son, our lives reveal the Father, just like Jesus’ did. WOW!
