Aug 22 He is TRUTH- I am SURE. The Living Word, a forever thing!
The Son of God has come and given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:20
for you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal living word of God…. 1 Peter 1:23

Reflection:
How many of us have experienced that sense that “truth” is constantly on the move? “It’s all relative”, is often our experience. In the realm of interpersonal relationships people get to choose their “truth”. Even where science is concerned. Think of the “truth” that sells different diets. (I’m on yet another)… One moment, I’m all juice and vegetables, “plant based” diet—the science tells me why, milk, butter, fat, meat is not good for me. And now (presently) the science is allowing me to put butter in my coffee! My Dr says, “sounds like Keto to me…” without batting an eye. Or take the media, if what is reported does not fit the narrative I want to hear, I get to call it “fake”, …not true. hmmmmmm.
Well I am so glad to report, there is knowable, a truth, we call The Truth, it does not change. It remains eternal and His name is Jesus.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
And it is because “He is Truth.” … eternal… i can forever say, “I am sure.”
1 Peter 1:23, reminds me that my connection to Jesus brings me into forever land! Think about The Truth we know, Jesus (Jn14:6). The Truth we know existed before the foundation of the world (Col 1:15). The Truth in us is “eternal” (John 5:24). Our Truth comes from Heaven (john 3:31). The Truth we know reveals the Kingdom of God (Lk17:21). And The Truth, it’s personal, alive, He lives in you, with you, for you forever!!! (Jn17:15-26,). Know Jesus and you know The Truth can trusted no matter what…(1 These.5:18). Not only that, The Truth you know, makes you a forever thing too!!! *1 Peter 1:23.
