How To Give A Love Gift This Christmas

For those who feel a God nudge to give to others beyond your personal family members this Christmas, please pray about which of these Holy Spirit inspired ministries you’d like to sow into.

John, Cyndy and Friends Community Christmas Dinner:

Since hearing the song “Give this Christmas away” Holy Spirit nudged John and Cyndy to reach out to people in our community to share with them a Christmas meal. For seven years now they have been expressing the love of God with a Christmas Dinner! Yay God! Donations can be sent to Cyndy via For more information click HERE.

The BATH (Beauty for Ashes Transformation) House in Arthur: We are hoping to come alongside other folk who wish to bless the the three ladies who are currently part of the Bath House Program with gift baskets. The ministry is looking for gift cards, toiletries, and simple ladies winter apparel like gloves, socks, toques and other necessities :) … We are looking for these items by Sunday December 18th. If you can’t make it to our Sunday Gathering to drop these gifts off, but still want to give, contact Jan Baynton at 1 519 848 3365.

Auden and Wendy our Missionary Friends in Peru. For years now we have raised $6000 for the children’s feeding program and mentor/tutor ministry in Pacasmayo Peru— The ministry is called “Escolares Brillantes”! Currently our mission budget is sitting at just under $400. Behind the scenes we’ve had Selah Fire Family support a beloved translator, Vanessa with the advent of her and Gilbert’s new baby, as well as providing financial assistance to our Pastor freind Victor in Lima so he could have needed surgery. Whether we achieve $600 or $6000 your gifts are greatly appreciated and help Auden and Wendy share God’s love in Peru. Curious about this ministry? Want to reach out beyond our own neighbourhoods to bless the world? See their most recent news letter HERE and feel free to give, via an envelope at our Sunday Gatherings or - make sure to note that your gift is for “Kids in Peru”.
